As part of the implementation of the XILO Shop project, we were responsible for a number of activities that included:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\r\n

We prepared content in German for key pages of the site, taking into account market and SEO specifications.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n

We have prepared and optimized images for each of the products we offer, which is crucial for presenting radiators of different variants and sizes.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n

We developed a system design that allowed users to make purchases easily and intuitively.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

A key element of the project was the implementation of a wide range of product variants, providing users with a choice of 40 products and their 2,500 combinations of sizes, colors and other features.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Implementation process<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

1. project reset<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Unique Devs, we start each implementation with a so-called project reset, that is, with the preparation of the working environment. What does this consist of?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Copying WordPress files and compilation files<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Organize the structure of the project, including file and path naming<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Installation of the necessary tools for building the site (e.g., for forms)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Adding necessary plugins like Woocommerce and all payment gateway plugins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    2. the Gutenberg block<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the case of XILO Shop, the site was built on the Gutenberg block, which allowed for more flexible content management and ease of further development of the store. The process included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Preparation of the array element containing the data for the ACF itself<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Adding relevant ACF fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Adding a PHP file containing, among other things, the HTML structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Adding styles in the scss file along with a responsive version<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Advanced functionalities<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      The XILO Shop project required us to implement many advanced functionalities that went beyond standard WordPress. \u2028Among the most important were:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

        Store users can easily sort products by different criteria, i.e.: size, color or features<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • automatic calculation of delivery costs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          costs are automatically calculated depending on the number of products ordered, which significantly streamlines the purchasing process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • change of prices for different variants<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            the price of the products is dynamically updated depending on the selected variant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • translations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              all elements of the website have been fully translated into German<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

                The final result of the work was a modern, intuitive online store that provides users with the ability to purchase products with a wide range of variants. The implementation of 2,500 product combinations and advanced features of the store allowed smooth and convenient use of the site. The XILO store on the day of launch included about 40 products, with numerous variants, and its functionality and optimization for the German-speaking market stood out from the competition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
